Arigatō Tokyo! Today I got a great Christmas present from Japan: in the big Asian competition Tokyo International Photo Awards, I won Gold in the Nature by Air category with this Icelandic glacial river and even second place across all nature categories. Three other Icelandic views won honorable mentions and I also took away a Top 5 jury selection. I haven't been to Asia yet with my work yet and it's great to see that my overworlds find their audience in Asia as well.
