It was with great joy that I received the news yesterday that two of my photos took the first two places in the Aerial Photography category in what is apparently the main competition of the Minimalist Photography Awards. I also take away two honorable mentions in this category and one in the Landscape category.
I'm glad to see that Icelandic photos are generating so much interest around the world... the Icelandic trip was terribly meaningful for me, with events and emotions of every imaginable sign, so I take this as a kind of confirmation that it was simply meaningful.
